Background

The long version.

I've been running some version of a business since I was seventeen. The finance degree came after — I wanted to understand the machinery behind what I'd been doing on instinct. Both halves are below.

Businesses I've founded

  1. Jun 2025 — presentOngoing

    Founder

    SharpenIdea — subscription website services
    • Designed and built sharpenidea.com myself, with AI-assisted development as the core of the process
    • Structured it as a monthly subscription — the build plus ongoing management — rather than one-time projects, so clients keep a site that stays current and I keep recurring revenue
    • Run the full client lifecycle: consultation, scoping, build, delivery, and continuing maintenance
    • Handle the marketing across X, Instagram, and TikTok
    • Self-taught the entire technical stack, and translate what a client says they want into what their business actually needs
  2. In developmentMarket validation

    Founder

PaintersHQ — AR software for painting contractors
    • Building an all-in-one platform on custom augmented reality: a painter scans a room and gets back exactly how much paint the job requires, cutting the over-ordering most shops never track
    • The same scan logs supplies room by room; the platform also handles invoicing clients by email, paying employees, and tracking active jobs
    • Homeowner side lets a client photograph a room, render it in a new color with AI, and get matched to the paint company best suited to the job
    • Working with a contracted app developer and a patent attorney; currently running market validation with working contractors
  3. In toolingPatent filing

    Founder

    Painter's Pocket — belt-mounted paint holder
    • A paint holder that connects to a belt so painters climb ladders with paint and brush on the hip and both hands free, keeping the climb OSHA-compliant
    • Magnet retains the brush; interchangeable inserts allow paint colors to be swapped without changing the rig
    • Toured an injection molding facility in Greensboro, NC, then had the CAD files reworked and finalized for production tooling
    • Awaiting a mold quote to cut first tooling and begin prototype runs; my first product, and the one PaintersHQ grew out of
  4. Dec 2022 — Jun 2025Started at 17

    Founder

    TheHarmony888 — e-commerce clothing brand
    • Founded the brand in high school and operated it to $10,000 in sales over the first two years
    • Sourced the manufacturer through three rounds of sample orders, buying and quality-testing the product myself before committing to a supplier
    • Ran one mesh shorts production run followed by two bulk tracksuit orders, handling website operations, customer communication, and fulfillment end to end
    • Built organic reach across Massachusetts and into other states; tracked margins, customer acquisition cost, marketing ROI, and retention to work out which decisions were actually paying off
  5. OngoingCohort member

    NextGenExit

NextGenExit — business accelerator and incubator
    • Handles patent work across my products and supports the businesses through market validation, development, and build
    • Peer founder network I use to pressure-test product decisions — it shaped the early development of Painter's Pocket more than any other input

    Wealth Management Intern

    Raymond James — Stoneham Bank

  2. Summer 2025Greater Boston, MA

    Door-to-Door Sales Representative

    InvoWork — website sales
    • Cold-canvassed used car dealerships across the area, booking and running sit-down meetings with the owners themselves
    • Built each pitch around competitive positioning — what rival dealers' sites were doing that theirs weren't, and what it was costing them
    • Closed nothing. The value was in learning how an owner actually decides: I was selling the product before I understood the buyer, and the ones who pushed back hardest taught me the most about how to frame an offer
